Elyas Toghyani is a celebrated singer, musician, and university professor, distinguished for his profound contributions to the world of music. Born in the culturally rich city of Isfahan, Elyas has carved a niche for himself in the intricate tapestry of Iranian music.

  • Early Musical Journey:

Elyas's musical odyssey began under the tutelage of his father, Ibrahim Taghavi, who instilled in him the fundamentals of vocal artistry. Further honing his craft, Elyas studied the vocal styles of the esteemed Master Malek Mohammad Masoudi and completed advanced training at Isfahan's renowned vocal music school, guided by Nahid Dayi Javad.

  • Music and Instruments:

- Vocal Training:

Introduction to vocal training under the guidance of his father, Ibrahim Toghyani.

Advanced training in the Isfahan School of Vocal Music under the mentorship of Master Nahid Dayi Javad.

- Specialized Instrument: Ney

In addition to Ney, he plays other instruments such as Taar, Setar, and Tonbak. Honored to have studied under the renowned Iranian music maestro, Master Hassan Kassai.

Completion of studies under esteemed instructors including Mohammad Ali Kianinejad, Hassan Nahid, Jamshid Andalibi, and the late Mohammad Ali Haddadian.

  • Academic Background:

Complete diploma at the Music Conservatory in Isfahan. Graduated from Tehran University of Music. Masters in Music from University of Art in Tehran.

  • Performance Activities:

Active participation with various groups including Delshodegan, Tolou, Parand, Chakavak in Isfahan, resulting in performances in various halls and television networks.

Collaboration with Kassai Group as well as other groups like Afagh, Nasim-e Saba, Sepehr, Ronak, and Navaye Mokhalef,etc... presenting diverse performances.

Collaboration with Sanam Group, resulting in the production of albums such as "Hamneshin-e Dirineh" and "Ta Nafas Baghist."

Release of the album "Oj-e Roya" in, which was introduced to the public.

  • International Performances:

Performing and presenting Iranian music in various cities of Denmark, Sweden (Copenhagen, Odense, Malmo), accompanied by the Shams Molana Group in commemoration of the 800th anniversary of Molana.

A 45 days long festival in Dubai in which Elyas performed every single day and managed the band as well as singing and playing instrument.

Official professor at the University of Culture and Art.

Headmaster of the Avaye Jan Music School in Tehran.

Teaching vocalization, singing techniques, improvisation, vocal response, Ney, Setar, and more.
